Easy Mediterranean Chicken Breast

- 2 boneless, skinless chicken breast (8 ounce each)
- 1 cup olive oil
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1/4 tsp dried thyme
- Freshly ground black pepper
- 1/4 cup freshly squeezed lemon juice
- Salt to taste
- 1/2 tsp dried oregano
Season chicken breasts with salt and pepper place in a bowl.
Add garlic, olive oil, lemon juice, thyme and, oregano in a small bowl and mix well.
Pour this marinade over chicken breasts and marinate for 10 minutes at room temperature.
Preheat oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C).
Place chicken breasts into a baking dish and pour the rest of the marinade on top.
Bake chicken on the middle rack of the oven until no longer pink in the center and the juices run clear. Usually it should take 35 to 45 minutes based on the thickness.
Move baking dish to the top rack and bake chicken until well browned.
